Charlie Banner KC is a leading planning silk, based at Keating Chambers, as well as a working peer in the House of Lords. He has acted as counsel in some of the most important planning cases of the last decade, including HS2, Heathrow, Hillside and CG Fry. He has extensive experience of housing related planning work including acting for the successful appellants in the recent Chiswell Green appeal in which several hundred homes in the St Albans Green Belt were allowed on appeal by the Secretary of State. He is the creator and co-presenter of ‘Have We Got Planning News For You’ and is a member of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Housing.
