Eric Owens

Eric Owens is Director of Planning and Environment at Buckinghamshire Council, one of the country’s largest Local Planning Authorities.  Eric manages a range of departments including Planning, Building Control, Climate Change and Transport Strategy, along with a number of Natural and Built Environment teams. 

With over 25 years’ experience Eric has held a number of senior positions across a variety of local authorities leading a diverse range of services including Planning, Housing, Regeneration & Investment, Transport, Public Protection and Emergency Planning.   Eric is a chartered town planner, with a passion for delivering successful places for local communities, whilst enhancing the productivity and customer experience of council services.
